Jeanne Gates

Jeanne M. Gates, 70, of Strafford NH died Thursday, January 4th 2018 at Frisbee Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Jeanne was born May 8, 1947 in Billerica MA to Mildred (deceased) and Alfred Robichaud, and worked as an office manager for Attorney Green in Dover NH before retiring.  She enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also enjoyed tending to her garden, and had a passion for butterflies. Members of her family include her husband of 30 years Robert Gates, children Stephen McDermott, Laura LaVoie and her husband Joseph, Brian McDermott, and Patricia Lanthier; sister Gail Robichaud; 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the R.M. Eagerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester NH.
