Jesse Jay Hill Sr.

Rochester, NH- Jesse Jay Hill Sr., 70, of Old Dover Road died Saturday Feb. 8, 2020 at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, NH after a brief but courageous battle with a rare quick moving cancer. He was born October 17, 1949 in Dawson, Georgia the son of Bulah May (Walker) Brown.  Jay was raised by his grandmother Trudy B. Marzette and has resided in Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, AL., East Orange, and Trenton, NJ and finally buying his home in Rochester, NH. Jay was a professional boxer with 19 fights and 19 knockouts, and a recipient of the Golden Gloves! Jay worked many different jobs starting at age 5 cleaning the high school with his Grandmother, a baker assistant, at a slaughter house, Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard, at Heidelberg Harris and as a district manager for Fosters Dailey Democrat.  Jay always had 2 or 3 jobs at one time.
