Joan Mccarter

Concord - Joan R. McCarter, 91, went home to be with her Lord on January 9, 2013 at Havenwood Heritage Heights in Concord. The daughter of the late Fred Sr. and Grace Hall, Joan was born on September 19, 1921 in Andover, NH. Joan was a teacher for the Seabrook School System. She was a skilled painter, and enjoyed making quilts, reading, and cooking. Joan is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Don McCarter of Concord; five daughters, Sherry Reniker of Kent, WA, Rachel Roberts (Donald) of Theresa, NY, Gail McCarter of Franklin, NH, Linda Davis (David) of Rochester, NH, Judi Hutcheson (Jerry) of Sarasota, FL; one brother, Fred Hall Jr. of Rochester, NH; four granddaughters; one grandson; and five great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
