Joan Meserve

North Berwick, Me.- Joan Merserve, 85, formerly of North Berwick, ME died Tuesday Aug. 15, 2017 at Hyder Family Hospice Home in Dover, NH. She was born Dec. 8, 1931 in Providence, RI the daughter of the late Raymond and Evelyn (Hines) Dodge. She resided in North Berwick for 17 years previously living in Milton, NH for 52 years. She worked as a fancy stitcher for many of the shoe factories in the area. She attended St. Michaels. Our Lady of Peace and St. Anthony's Catholic Churches. Joan enjoyed going to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. An outdoors enthusiast she enjoyed camping and snowmobiling. The widow of Irving Meserve who died in 1993, she is survived by sister-in-law, Nancy Patstone of North Berwick, ME , and half- brother, Raymond Dodge, Arizona. She was predeceased by daughter, Connie and husband Robert Witham. A graveside service will be held Friday Aug. 18, 2017 at 10 AM in Plummers Cemetery, Milton, NH.
