Barrington- Joseph Michael Lamontagne, 56, of 26 Laura Lane died Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover after a period of failing health. Born November 12, 1955 in Rochester, NH. He was the son of the late Louis Lamontagne and Ruth (Crisp) Lamontagne Saucier. Joe was a great man and father, he had a free spirit and he was loved by everyone. He was a really generous guy and would give the shirt off his back if you asked him too. He was a Red Cross Hero of the Year recipient for rescuing two children from a burning building. He loved his daughters and grandson; they were the light of his life. Joe served in the U.S. Marines and was an artist with wood and a master craftsman. He also loved fishing, had a passion for playing the guitar, and the outdoors. He was fondly known as "Joe Fish".
