John William Ackerman

Rochester- John William Ackerman 63 of 22 Mill Street died Tuesday April 13, 2021, at his home after a brief illness. He was born February 19, 1958, in Newark, New Jersey, the son of the late Nellie Browman (Ackerman) and Russell Ackerman. He grew up in a Yonkers New York at Andrus Group Home which shaped him into the man everyone grew and loved. He worked in the moving business for Allied, Mayflower, Cormier and others. He lived in New York for many years till 1989 when he relocated his family to Farmington NH. John was always the life of the party. He loved partying with family and friends. He was stubborn as a mule and set in his way. John was loved by many and will be miss dearly He is survived by his 7 children that he loved and adored. John Ackerman, Jennifer Raymond, Danny Ackerman, Elmer Deines, Wendy Martinez, Cindy Ackerman and Jonathan Ackerman. His daughter in law Heather Laurent   And Son in law Ramon and Patrico Sanchez Martinez. Siblings include Jomarie Thompson's, Stephen Ackerman, Arleen Matay, and Joann Weddle. His precious grandkids who often referred to him as Grumpy.  Kevin, Nicholas, Brandon,Kaili Natalia, Arianna and Ryleigh Ackerman , Cody Chamberlain, Alexander Colbath, Patricia, Christina, Aamillya, Nathaniel, Jacob, Justin, Davonte, DeAndre, DeAmari, Elizabeth Sanchez Martinez, Kimberlee and Katelyn Raymond, Kodey, Violette, Starr, Magenta Deines. He leaves behind many friends especially Judy, Holly and Chris Isaacson. His deceased family members are his siblings Russell and Barbara Ackerman, Suzanne Peters, Victoria Roberts, and Will Matay, his son in law Jeremy Raymond Sr and his niece Sabrina Weddle. Service Family and friends may visit Monday April 19 2021 from 1 to 3 pm. The funeral services will follow at 3 pm in the chapel of R.M Edgerly & Son funeral home 86 S Main St. Rochester NH.
