John W. Cullen

Acton, ME – John W. “Jack” Cullen, Jr. ,87, passed away Thursday November 28, 2024, at the River Edge Center in Kennebunk, ME, following a period of failing health.
Born September 12, 1937, in Portsmouth, NH he was the son of the late John W. and Myrtle (Guay) Cullen, Sr.
Jack worked as an engineer for New England Telephone for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, reloading ammunition, he also made bullet jewelry, and worked with leather to make pocketbooks for family and friends. A highlight of his life were the ten years he and his wife Sandra lived on their yacht cruising from Maine to the intercoastal in St. Augustine, FL.
Members of his family include his wife Sandra (McCarthy) Cullen of Acton, ME; his children Scott Snodgrass of Searsport, ME; Bret Cullen of Greenland, NH; Tanya Cullen-Hinde of Farmington, NH; Lisa Taylor and husband Buck of Kingsland, GA; Arnold Bennett and wife Jennifer of Rochester, NH; and Brian Bennett and wife Laurieann of Wakefield, NH; his 12 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, and his great nephew with whom Jack shared a special relationship with, Joey Brown of Greer, SC.
He was predeceased by his sister Deborah Fehr.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be announced at a later date.
