Rochester, NH- John W. Volpe, 79, died Monday Sept.14, 2015 at his home. He was born April 11, 1936 in Brockton, MA, the son of the late Joseph Volpe and Dorothy (Pease) Volpe Micheau. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a radarman. He was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1954 and went on to receive his associates degree at Franklin Institute in Boston and Northeastern University where he received his Bachelors Degree. John later taught at the Franklin Institute and at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in the apprentice program. He worked as an electronic design engineer for Raytheon, Foxboro Company and retired from Dover Flexo Electronic Company. John has resided in Rochester for the past 24 years previously living in Rockland, MA. He was an avid artist and woodworker and had won several ribbons at the Rochester Fair for his works.
