Joseph Adjutant, 96 years old, passed away on July 1, 2026, at the Studley Home in Rochester, NH. He was born on June 1, 1930, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Evelyn (Hill) Adjutant, and raised in Union, NH.

Joe was a logger in his younger years. Later he worked at Davidson Rubber as a lead foreman for many years until he retired.

Joe built his own house and took pride in his home during his later years. He loved nature, hunting, fishing, and hiking.

He enjoyed his retirement with his wife, Palma (Whitnall) and the two spent winters between Florida and Arizona. Later the two continued to live between Florida and Arizona but they called it home for several years. In 2004, they moved back home to the Union, NH area for good.

Joe is survived by one son Warren A. Adjutant. He is also survived by his son-in-law Marc Wilbur and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Palma and daughter Debby.
