ROCHESTER ; Joseph Douglas Close Jr., 19, of 51 Daffodil Hill Lane, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, in Madbury.He was born March 6, 1989, in Berlin, the son of Joseph Douglas Close Sr. and Lisa (Hidler) Close. He had resided in Rochester most of his life. Joe's hobbies included camping, spending time with friends and the outdoors, music, mudding and cars. He was loved by all and was the "life of the party." Most recently, he was accepted in the school for mixed martial arts.Members of his family include his mother, Lisa Close of Rochester and her partner, Sean Bernier; his father and stepmother, Joseph D. Close Sr. and Sherry of Rochester; stepfather, Keith Lueras of Rochester; sister, Kylie Close of Rochester; brothers, Zachary and Dylan Close of Rochester; maternal grandmother, Gloria Hidler of Rochester; paternal grandparents, Carl and Diane Close of Middleton, Mass.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
