Joseph Debellis

Rochester, NH- Joseph A. DeBellis, 68 of Rochester died Wednesday Jan. 18, 2017 at home after a brief illness. He was born Aug. 26, 1948 in Ausonia, Italy the was the son of the late Anthony and Anna (Sabahat) DeBellis. He was resided in Rochester for the past 13 years previously living twenty years in Dover, NH. Joseph was retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving twenty years then worked for Harris Graphics Company as a second shift supervisor. He was an avid Nascar fan enjoyed camping and loved tinkering in his garage, making toys for his grandchildren. He enjoyed anything to do with airplanes but especially loved spending time with his family. Members of his family include his wife of 45 years, Karen (Merrill) DeBellis; son, Anthony DeBellis and wife Trisha, Rochester; daughter, Jennifer Dodge and husband Matt, Suffolk, VA.; grandchildren, Emily, Molly, Anthony, Aidan, Alex and Cameron; sister, Angela Tenore and husband Renato, Yonkers, NY; sister-in-law, Anna Marie DeBellis and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, John DeBellis.   A Celebration of Life will be Saturday Jan. 28, 2017 at 1PM in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH.
