Farmington, NH- Joseph (PAL) M. Morey, JR., 79, of 31 Sycamore Blvd. died Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH. Born August 25, 1931 in Gloucester, MA. He was the son of the late Joseph H. and Harriett E. (Landry) Morey, SR. Joseph served his country proudly in the Navy during the Korean War as a corpsman. Upon his Honorable discharge he met and married his sweetheart Eleanor. With their loving hearts they adopted their daughter Kathleen. Joseph worked many years as a CNC Programmer in the Mass / RI areas. Upon his retirement they relocated to Exeter NH. Where Joseph dedicated many of his hours to working for his friend at Sherwood Forest of which he then resided. In 2010, Joseph decided to relocate to Farmington to live with his daughter and look forward to everyday spending the time with her family and their "fur kids" Toby & Ember. An Angel earned his wings ~ no words can describe how much you will be missed. Members of his family include his daughter Kathleen Gagnon and husband Steve of Farmington, NH. His grandson Scott Lavalley of Farmington. His cousin George Landry and wife Gail of Rhode Island. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor A. (Sheehan) Morey, his brothers Robert and George Morey, his sisters Bertha Moulton, Margaret Steiner & Doris Moody. There are no calling hours. Family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Joseph's name to the Farmington Fire / Rescue Association, 381 Main Street, Farmington, NH 03835 A memorial mass will be celebrated Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 1 PM at the St. Mary Church, 71 Lowell Street, Rochester, NH 03867 with Fr.
