Therrien, Joseph Rochester- Joseph "Rene" Louis Therrien, 78, of 32 Western Ave died Friday, March 19, 2010 at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Born March 9, 1932 in Berlin, NH. He was the son of the late Hermenegilde and Marie (Marquis) Therrien. Rene had a strong work ethic and always kept very busy. He was a retiree of General Electric and an Army veteran. For many years he also operated an electronics business out of his home. Most recently Rene was employed at the Rochester toll booth. Rene was most known for his generosity and his kindness. He was a dedicated husband and a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He had many friends and treated strangers as neighbors. While Rene was a strong man he had a gentle spirit - he was easy with a smile, had warm blue eyes and was always singing. He loved the outdoors and was often found working in his yard stacking wood, tending the flowers and snow blowing driveways in the winter. He was a lobsterman for many years and enjoyed being on the ocean....
