Rochester- Josephine Leclerc, 73, passed away on May 14, 2011 surrounded by her loving family in her home after a lengthy illness. Josie was born November 1, 1937 in Peekskill, NY. The daughter of the late Dante and Rose Bernabo. She lived in Somersworth most of her life and worked as a Fancy Stitcher in several shoe shops until she moved to sunny Fort Myers Beach, Florida in 1990. There she enjoyed 19 years with her devoted husband. In 2008, she moved back to Rochester, NH. Josie was a member of Auxillary American Legion Post 8 and was past Post President of Lefems 40 & 8. One of her greatest pleasures was working with the 40 & 8 Special Olympics and the other was giving her husband Moe a hard time to the amusement of all onlookers. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years; Maurice (Moe) Leclerc of Rochester. A daughter Debra Burk and husband Ronald Joy of Rochester. Sons Richard Brehm and Greg Leclerc both of Rochester and Ric Leclerc and his wife Melissa of Florida. She is also survived by four sisters Millie Raymond, Jenny Conley, Rosemary Libby, and Susan Demaris. Two brothers; Victor and Larry Bernabo. Ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Michael Bosse and a sister Alba Wright. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you for the gentle, loving care provided by the staff of Wentworth Home Care and Hospice and to the staff of Rochester Manor. A wake will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2011 from 5 PM to 8 PM at the R. M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main Street, Rochester, NH 03867. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 10 AM at the St. Mary Church, Lowell Street, Rochester, NH 03867 with Fr.
