Karen Regis

Rochester - Karen (Sylvain) Regis, 70, passed away Friday June 28, 2024 in her home. Karen was born June 19, 1954 to Ernest and Claire (Henry) Sylvain in Austin, TX. She graduated from Portsmouth High School in Portsmouth, NH in 1972. Karen was politically active her whole life, including protesting nuclear power with the Seacoast Anti-pollution League in the 70's. She took time to write to her congressmen and senators throughout the years showing she was a true patriot. She loved writing letters and sending beautiful cards to her loved ones. Karen also enjoyed baking, often bringing her baked goods to church for refreshments. Karen was extremely proud of all her children, and particularly proud that she had 3 of the births at home. She was a beautiful human inside and out. She was thoughtful and sentimental. She adored her grandchildren. Karen was a tenacious individual and never let life's curveballs stop her.
