Katherine "Kathy" A. Jarest Devoted Mother and Grandmother (Meme) Age 68 Katherine A. Jarest of Rocheter, NH passed away after a period of failing health on Thursday January 27, 2022 at home with her companion of 24 years, by her side. Katherine was born in Camp Atturbury,IN on December 9,1953. Katherine loved life, but most of all she loved her 4 children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with her entire heart and soul. She was the kindest person and would do anything for anyone. She will be greatly missed by so many. Katherine is survived by her 4 children daughter Janet (Jarest) Tesch, daughter Roberta (Jarest) Pelletier and son-in-law Jerry,  son Michael Thurston Jr, and daughter-in-law Amber, son Dennis Shannon II, and his girlfriend Jessica. Her grandchildren Scott Perkins, Alex Bilodeau, Kristyn Sargent, Justin Pelletier, Joshua Pelletier, Hunter Thurston, and Mason Thurston. Her great-grandchildren Payton & Brady. Also her significant other of 24 years Jay Ducharme. She will be remembered for her love of her family, her friends and her fiery spirit. She also loved her "pug" dogs so very much. She had a very thoughtful way of calling each and every one of us every year on our birthdays to sing "Happy Birthday". We looked forward to her call. A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2022.
