Kathleen Margaret Mcguire

Kathleen Margaret McGuire - 74, Farmington, passed away peacefully at home on May 11th, 2021. She was born on March 9th, 1947, in Wolfeboro NH to her parents Robert and Virginia Spence (Davis). She graduated from Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro NH and went on to serve her country in the Vietnam War as a nurse working in a MASH unit on the front lines. After coming home from the war, she continued in the nursing profession for the rest of her career at Huggins Hospital then moving to Wentworth Douglas Hospital where she worked in the recovery room and same day surgery among other departments. Working until she could not, she was a caring, dedicated, and wonderful nurse. Kathleen is a loving and devoted mother of two sons Mark and Todd, stepmother to her late husband, Jeffrey McGuire's, children Steve, Jay, Tammy and John and grandmother to many grandchildren. She was always there when needed and always wanted to do more. She will be missed by all. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at Edgerly Funeral Home on Friday May 21st, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm. All friends and family are welcome to attend to remember this wonderful woman and how much she meant to those she knew.
