East Rochester, NH- Kathryn (Baker) Arthur, 67, of 6 Magic Avenue died Tuesday Jan. 28, 2014 in Rochester after a sudden illness. She was born July 24, 1946 in Laramie, WY. the daughter of the late Albert Clifford and Marion Louise (Stewart) Baker. She has resided in East Rochester for the past 10 years previously living in Plattsburg, NY. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her close family. She was recognized by Community Partners for all of her dedicated help with friends and neighbors. She enjoyed reading, writing and going to the movies with family. The widow of Willis Arthur, she is survived by two daughters, Tapitha Boyle of Rochester, NH, Tammy and husband Deane Palmer of Northfield, NH; five grandchildren, Calista, Tylor, Coree, Dylan and Ariana; one great grandson, Evan; step mother, Carol Baker of FL.; sisters, Bonnie (Baker) Pincus of MD, Pat Petratos of FL. two nieces and one nephew. She was predeceased by her brother Buddy Petratos. Family and friends may visit Friday Jan. 31, 2014 5-7PM at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester NH The funeral service will follow Friday evening at 7PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Laramie, WY in the family plot, at a later date.
