IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kathy Ann
Zaleski
February 1, 1949 – March 25, 2026
Celebration of Life
American Legion Post 21 Inc
1:00 - 2:00 pm (Eastern time)
Kathy Ann Zaleski, of Concord, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, with her beloved daughter—her mirror in so many ways—by her side. A woman of deep faith, Kathy was truly an angel on earth who has now been called home to heaven.
Born on February 1, 1949, in Concord, NH, Kathy lived a life filled with love, kindness, and selflessness. She was a deeply devoted and nurturing mother who always put others before herself. Gentle, empathetic, and full of grace, Kathy never raised her voice and met everyone with warmth and compassion. She carried herself with grace and dignity, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Her greatest joy was her family. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to her grandsons Jordan, Cullyn, and Hunter, cherishing every moment spent attending their sporting events and taking them on special outings, including trips to the movies.
Kathy embraced life’s simple pleasures with a joyful heart. She loved playing cribbage and was a proud member of a cribbage league at the American Legion in Concord, affectionately known as the “Lege,” where she spent countless happy hours with friends and family. She looked forward each year to her cherished trips to Old Orchard Beach with her son’s family and treasured her time at “camp” on Lake Winnipesaukee.
A devoted fan of the Celtics and Patriots, Kathy especially enjoyed sharing those moments by texting with her youngest daughter, Kerri, throughout the games. She found great happiness in baking for others—especially her famous whoopie pies, which she lovingly made for her brother Tom, as well as her son, Tom. She also loved listening to her daughter Kristin and grandson Jordan sing at the Legion, moments that filled her with pride and joy. While living with her daughter Kim and husband Jeff, she looked forward to watching the Celtics and always expressed such gratitude when Kim would surprise her with a hot fudge sundae.
Kathy had a special gift for connection—she seemed to know someone everywhere she went, even meeting familiar faces in unexpected places, like an airport during a vacation in Aruba. Her kindness and genuine spirit made everyone feel like family.
Above all, Kathy will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose heart knew no bounds. Her faith, love, and gentle spirit will continue to guide and inspire those she leaves behind.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ellis and Margaret Cleveland. She is survived by her loving children: her son Tom Zaleski and his fiancée Casey Smith; her daughter Kimberly Zaleski and her husband Jeff Lamie; and her daughters Kristin Zaleski and Kerri Zaleski. Grandsons Jordan, Cullyn and Hunter. She is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews as well as Nichole and Nicholas Burke, with whom she raised and formed a special bond with since their early childhood.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the American Legion in Concord, NH.
