Kenneth White Sr.

WELLS, Maine - Kenneth White Sr., 73, of Lake Wales, Fla., died Monday, July 27, 2009 at his daughter's home in Wells, Maine, after a sudden illness.Born Oct. 16, 1935, in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Clifford and Olive (Johnson) White.Ken Grew up in Lebanon most his life until his retirement when he moved to Lake Wales, Fla. He was employed at Pratt and Whitney for 17 years until he retired. He loved cars, whether it was working on them or driving them. He loved going to the stock car races or watching them on television. Ken loved people and everyone loved him but his true love was his family and all the gatherings when his children got together.Members of his family include his wife of 50 years, Pauline (Ouellette) of Lake Wales; his son, Kenneth White Jr. of Pennsylvania; his daughters, Bonnie Dube of Dover, Cheryl Mayo and her husband, Dan, of Wells, Penny White of Pennsylvania, Robin White of Sanford, Maine, Jessie Gouin and her husband, Ray, of Berwick, Maine, and April White of Saco, Maine; a brother, Arthur White of Wolfeboro, N.H.; his sisters, Margie French of New Hampshire and Elsie Bousguet of Pittsfield, N.H.; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sisters, Virginia Rhodes and Stella Mayotte.Calling hours will be held Friday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St. Rochester, N.H. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.Burial will be in the family cemetery in Lebanon, Maine, following the service.
