Kevin Newell

Kevin Newell, 48, of Gonic, NH, passed away on May 20, 2024. Born in Exeter NH on November 7th, 1975, Kevin was the beloved son of Mary and Chuck Charette, George Newell and the late Caroline Stewart, who sadly passed away from cancer in 1982. Following her passing, Kevin found a loving home with Mary and George Newell. Later Kevin came to know Chuck Charette, husband to Mary Charette, who provided Kevin love and support throughout the years. Kevin's early years were marked by a fervent passion for racing, a hobby he enjoyed deeply over the years, formed in his early days from the racing community that surrounded him. However, as he grew older, he discovered his true calling in the sport of darts. Known for his ability to hit checkouts when it mattered, and the encouragement he provided to others, Kevin was not only a formidable competitor, but also a cherished member of the darts community. His dedication to the game was surpassed only by his love for the camaraderie and friendships he formed along the way. Kevin was well known for his good nature and great sense of humor. He believed that conflicts could be avoided and that it was best to "let your darts do the talking." This philosophy defined his approach to life and sport, earning him respect and admiration from all who knew him. Beyond his accomplishments within the dart community, Kevin's most treasured legacy lies in the family that he and his wife Angelia Newell created together. Kevin and Angelia were married in Prescott Park in 2004. Kevin is survived by his four sons, Adam Newell, Zackary Newell, Nickolas Newell, and Jakob Newell. Kevin's love and guidance will forever live on through them, and they will always be his greatest source of pride. He is also survived by his brothers Paul Newell and David Charette, his sister Erica Riddle and sister Ruth Ann Stewart, all of whom he loved deeply. Kevin Newell will be remembered for the ease in which he took life, his love, pride, and commitment to his family, his love of darts and the community it brought together, and the warmth he brought to all who knew him. His memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and the many lives he touched not only in the darts community, but everywhere he went. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We love you Kevin. A Celebration of Life will be held in Kevin's honor at Higher Ground: A Remnant Church in Nottingham, NH on May 25th, 2024 from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
