Larry Alan Schmidt

Rochester NH - Larry Alan Schmidt, 68, of 28 Hemlock St died Thursday June 16, 2016 at his home after a brief illness.   Born September 26, 1947 in Wichita KS, he is the son of the late Colonel Earl M. Schmidt (USAF ret.) and the late Lois (Rose) Gray. His daughter, Jennifer, preceded him in death.   Larry, a longtime resident of Rochester, was a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University. With a degree in electrical engineering, he worked at General Electric for thirty three years. An accomplished pilot, Larry enjoyed many years of flying throughout New England and the East Coast.
