Laurent Dube

Dube, Laurent Laurent Dube, 84, of Strafford, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at his home after a brief illness. Born August 30, 1925 in Haverhill, MA, he was the son of the late George H. and Laura (Arsenault) Dube. Mr. Dube was a WWII era US Army veteran. He worked most of his life as a self-employed carpenter. Larry enjoyed golfing and loved to read. He avidly followed and debated national politics. Members of his family include his children Ruth M. Swasey of Strafford, George H. Dube, of Strafford and John W. Dube and wife Diane of Wolfeboro. His brothers Robert Dube, George Dube, Joseph Dube, and James Dube. His sisters Lorrine Merrill and Patricia Eldon. Grandchildren Ethan, Sarah and Joshua Swasey, Andrea Fournier, Jacob Dube, Jamie Dube and Jared Dube. Great grandchildren Levi and Dylan Swasey, Abigail and Isabelle Fournier. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy L. (Woods) Dube and his sister Pauline DeCelle. There are no calling hours.
