Leo Eugene Labonte

Rochester NH-Leo Eugene "Gene" LaBonte, 80, formerly of Laural Estates in Rochester where he lived for 15 years died Sunday December 25, 2016 at the Rochester Manor after a long illness   Born September 28, 1936 in Gonic NH he was the son of the late Leo F and Marjorie (Horne) LaBonte   Leo is a life long resident of Rochester. He served in the United State Navy and later joined the national guard. He was a member of the American Legion Post 7 in Rochester Victory Club and a past member of the Rochester Elks. When his children were younger he was involved with the Rochester youth hockey program.   Members of his family include his sons; Thomas LaBonte of Sanford Me and Todd LaBonte of Rochester NH, his Daughters; Lisa Crossan Watson and her husband Roger of fort Pierce FL and Kimberly Perkins and her husband Robert of Rochester, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, a step brother, Robert Morrison, he was predeceased by his step mother Alice LaBonte, a sister, Nancy Williams and a grandson, Chad Crossan.   In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Homemakers of Strafford County or to Cornerstone VNA and Hospice   Visitation will be held Friday from 1-3 with a funeral to be held at 3pm in the chapel of the R.M.
