Leonore Marsh

Dover, NH.  Leonore Marsh, 100, formerly of Rochester, NH, passed away peacefully at the Dover Center for Health and Rehabilitation on March 24, 2021. She was born February 11, 1921 in Stigan, Norway - eldest daughter and sister to seven siblings - to the late Kristan and Odevarda Knedal. She was formally trained as a nurse in Norway, where she met her cherished husband (Elden Marsh) following WWII combat. She was predeceased by her husband in 2003. She is survived by her son, John Marsh, and his wife (Mary Kino) of Menifee, CA; dear Norwegian siblings and families of Rolf, Irene, Åge, and Rosemary; and many special stateside friends in America. A graveside service with burial will be held at the Rochester Cemetery on Franklin Street, Rochester, NH on April 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. Arrangements are under the care of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH.
