Linda Loring

New Durham, NH - Linda J Loring, 65, died Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at her home with her daughters and her sisters at her side. She was born April 29, 1950 one of four daughters of Paul Portrie and Lillian Gilberte (Rouleau) Portrie, both deceased. She was a devoted and loving mother both to her two daughters, Stephanie & Erica, and to her sister Laurie & nephew Tony. She enjoyed spending time with her family at any time, and anywhere, whether here in NH at Lake Wentworth or in Florida. Survivors include her daughters, Stephanie Middlebrooks and husband Eddie, and Erica Loring, her sister Laurie Nebesky, and her nephew Tony Gebhardt and his wife Dana; her grandchildren Eddie, Spencer, and Sebastian Middlebrooks along with nephews Shane Newsome, Connor Nebesky, great nephew Nicholas Gebhardt and great niece Danielle Gebhardt. She also leaves her sister Elaine Laurie and husband John; niece Heather Davis and husband Chris, and their child Harley; and nephew Jeffrey Brock and his wife Allie and their children Owen and Jillian, nephew Scott Gebhardt, and great niece Brooke Gebhardt; her maternal aunt Rhea Lamie as well as several cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Paula (Gebhardt) Brooker and her nephew Erik Gebhardt. Family and friends may visit Sunday, May 3, 2015 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH. Her funeral will be on Monday, May, 4 2015 at 10:00am at The Journey Baptist Church, 8 Eastern Ave. Barrington, NH 03825. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Rochester, NH.
