August 25, 1927 — June 30, 2022

Lois E. Kingsbury of 47 A Charles Street, Rochester NH passed at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years William Kingsbury. She has been predeceased by her oldest son, Donald Kingsbury and by her parents, brothers and sister. She is survived by her brother, James Kingsbury and his wife Marylyn of Wolfeboro, NH, two daughters, Beverly Kelley of Taylor, PA, Nancy Peavey and her husband William of Gonic, NH, sons Paul Kingsbury of Rochester, NH and Mark Kingsbury of Northumberland, PA. She also has many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was loved by all. Lois was a faithful member and soldier of the Rochester, NH Salvation Army holding many local leadership positions including, Home League Secretary, League of Mercy Secretary, Junior Soldier Sargent, Cradle roll Sargent, Sunday school teacher and she collected for many years in the local stores. She was born in Gardner Maine in 1927, raised in Farmington, NH, graduated Farmington High School in 1946 and was married on January 5, 1947 to William Kingsbury of Sanford, Maine. They were married for 67 years. She lived in several locations including, Cocoa, Florida until they made Rochester NH their home. While she worked in various locations her greatest joy was being there for her family. She loved each and every one of them as unique as they were and supported their adventures. Mom was a fighter and a cancer survivor, but she lost the battle this time but WON the VICTORY. She is in heaven with 2 new legs to walk with, 2 arms that are perfect, eyes that see the beauty surrounding her and ears that can hear, "Welcome home, My good faithful servant." The family will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday October 8th at 1:00 PM at The R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main Street, Rochester NH. All are invited to come and share their stories about Lois. Donations can be made in her memory to the Salvation Army, Rochester, NH or to a charity of your choice.
