Lois Libby

ROCHESTER - Lois F. Libby, 83, of 11 Berry St., died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital.She was born June 17, 1926, in S. Tamworth, N.H. She was the daughter of the late Melvin T. and Olive F. (Southicks) Sweet.Mrs. Libby had lived in Rochester most of her life. She worked in local shoe shops in Rochester and East Rochester. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading, knitting, and crocheting.Members of her family include her children, Linda Berry of Lebanon, Maine, Brenda Ricker and husband, Kenneth, of Milton, Elson Libby and wife, Sandra, of Rochester, Catherine Noojin of Alabama, and Florence Morrissette and husband, Donald, of California; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Melvin Sweet and her sister, Olive M.
