Lorraine M. Elkinson

Lorraine Marie (Pelletier) Elkinson, 84, of Rochester, NH, passed away peacefully at Birch Healthcare Center on July 10 after a battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. She was born in Rochdale MA on January 1, 1937, the daughter of Alexander and Juliette Pelletier. She spent her childhood years growing up in Oxford Massachusetts before getting married in 1961 to Edward Walter Elkinson.  Immediately following their wedding, Lorraine and Ed moved to France and Germany for 4 years where their 3 children were born. They returned to the US and lived in Georgia before settling down in Rochester in 1966. Lorraine enjoyed camping and gardening all of her life.  Her hobbies included oil painting, knitting, crafting and candlepin bowling but she felt her greatest accomplishment in life was raising three boys.
