Lorraine Soucy

Rochester-Lorraine Soucy,87, died peacefully surrounded by her family January 18, 2013 after a period of failing health. Born July 7, 1925 in Rochester NH she was the daughter of the late Hervey and Edna (Dallaire) Turcotte. Lorraine has lived in Rochester all of her life. She worked in area restaurants and more recently at Maple St School. She enjoyed crafts, reading, cooking and spending time with her family. The family would like to thank "Saint Laura" for the loving care she gave to Lorraine, Dover Family practice and all the wonderful caregivers who are appreciated and loved. Members of her family include her husband, Joseph Soucy of Rochester, her daughter, Denise Bardes and her husband Richard of Rochester, her grandchild, Katie Yarrison and her husband Bret of Portland ME, her great grandchild, Ethan Paul Yarrison of Portland ME. her sister Marjorie Casey of Rochester, She is predeceased by her first husband Francis Gagne. Donations may be made to the Cocheco Valley Humane Society. At her request there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday January 28, 2013 at 10:30AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rochester. Cremation is under the care of the R.M.
