Louise A Brooks

Farmington - Louise Brooks, 75, passed away Friday June 14, 2013 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born January 4, 1938 in Rochester, NH she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Cansia (Thiviage) Lingard. Louise attended Crown Point School and was a graduate of Austin Cate Academy. She later worked for many years as a trimmer and packer for Davidson Rubber in Farmington. In her spare time she enjoyed hunting, fishing, cookouts, gardening and playing bingo. Members of her family include her children Emil Ferland, Jr of Farmington, NH; Rusty Ferland of Rochester, NH; Vickie Ferland of Milton, NH; Danny Ferland of East Rochester, NH; and Scott Brooks of Farmington, NH; one stepson Donald Brooks, Jr. of Rochester, NH; many grandchildren and great grandchildren two sisters June McLaughlin and May Goodale both of Rochester, NH; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Brooks and her sister Jane Chapman. Family and friends may visit Tuesday June 18, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St, Rochester, NH. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington.
