Louise Gilmore

Rochester - Louise Gilmore, 93, passed away Tuesday May 19, 2015 at her home following a period of failing health. Born December 26, 1921 in Portsmouth, NH she was the daughter of the late Charles and Harriet (Chandler) Faulkner. Mrs. Gilmore had worked as a finisher at the Gonic Woolen Mill for many years. Louise enjoyed playing golf, sewing, and tending to her flower gardens. Members of her family include her daughter Bonnie Peterson of Deltona, FL; her son Robert Gilmore, Jr and wife Linda of AL; her grandchildren Geoffrey, Jennifer, Aaron, Artie, and Andrea, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The last of fifteen children she was predeceased by her fourteen siblings, and her husband Robert Gilmore, Sr. in June of 2014. A Graveside service will be held Friday May 22, at 11AM in the New Cold Spring Cemetery in East Rochester. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cornerstone VNA and Hospice, 178 Farmington Rd.
