Lowell Martin

Farmington, NH- Lowell R. Martin, 70, of Farmington, NH died Wednesday July 12, 2017 in Aruba with his family he loved so much. He was born Dec. 30, 1946 in S. Weymouth, MA. the son of the late Robert and Helen (Plouffe) Martin. He has resided in Farmington for the past 12 years and attended the Farmington Baptist Church. Lowell worked in nuclear medicine at Seacoast Cardiology. He had a zest for life and was free spirited. Lowell was family orientated and which that was most important in his life. He enjoyed fishing with grandson Jacob and coaching and playing baseball with grandson Joshua. Golfing was a favorite pastime. Members of his family include his wife of 10 years, Wendi (Wiggin) Martin; 3 daughters, Jennifer Bednarcyk, Erinn Kennedy, Jennifer Gagne; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandson; brothers, Robert, Dennis, Neill; two sisters, Mary Lynch and Helen Flanagan; in-laws, Brad and Patricia Wiggin; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Brenda and Norman Preston, who Lowell renamed as our "Captain"; sister-in-law Karen Wiggin , brother-in-law Brad Wiggin; many nieces, nephews, cousins and his very close friends and traveling partners, Jerry and Joyce Meteyer. Family and friends may visit Friday, July 21, 2017 from 5-8PM at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH. The funeral service will be Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11AM in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rochester Cemetery, Franklin Street, Rochester, NH.
