Lubertha Anderson

Barrington NH-LuBertha Anderson, 81, formerly of Scruton Pond Rd, died Sunday July 8, 2012 at the Rochester Manor after a long illness. Born September 10, 1930 in Birmingham AL she is the daughter of the late Allen and Jessica (Sewell) Coleman. LuBertha has lived in Barrington since 1976 after moving around the country with her husband, who served in the military. She attended Miles College and Wayne State University, earning her bachelor's degree in 1954. She enjoyed classical music, English literature and singing opera and classical soprano. She considered education to be very important and made sure that her children had the best opportunity to succeed. She was a fun loving person to be around and loved her family dearly. Members of her family include her children; Renee Anderson and her husband Leon Johnson of Barrington, Joy Anderson and her husband Adrian Wilkinson of Seattle WA, Phillip Anderson and his wife Lisa of Barrington, Ian Anderson and his wife Danielle of San Tan Valley, AZ and Stephen Anderson of Brooklyn NY, her grandchildren; Roberto and Miguel Cruz, Olivia Wilkinson, Christian Phillip Anderson and Cherelle Anderson, Christian Anthony Anderson, Brayden and Raegan Anderson, her great grandchildren, Denea and Kyshaun Rowell, her late brother, James Coleman and a sister, Juanita Schinault. A private family graveside service will be held Friday, July 13 at 10am at the Pine Grove cemetery in Barrington NH.
