Louden - Lucien A. Larochelle, 91, formerly of Gonic passed away Tuesday May 31, 2011 at his home following a period of failing health. Born June 13, 1919 in Rochester, NH he was the son of the late Joseph and Amanda (LePage) Larochelle. Mr. Larochelle served in the US Army during WWII in the 4th infantry division as part of Pattons 3rd Army. During his service he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal and the Bronze Star. After serving in the army he worked at Maybury Shoe and later as a custodian at the Strafford County Courthouse in Dover. Mr. Larochelle enjoyed spending time with his family. Members of his family include his wife Agnes (Marocotte) Larochelle of Louden, NH; his son John Larochelle of Rochester, NH; his daughter Rachel Larochelle of Louden, NH; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his six siblings. The family would like to thank the Concord Visiting Nurses Association for the exceptional care given to Mr. Larochelle. A memorial service will be held Friday June 3, 2011 at 11AM at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Gonic.
