Lucille Cui

July 10, 1930 — October 25, 2016

Lucille Cui, age 86, died on October 25, 2016, in Rochester New Hampshire. Lucille or "Lu" as she liked to be called, was an adventurous and independent woman. At an early age she went out on her own, first in service of the Lord, and then in service of her country as a nurses aid in the US Air Force. There she met her future husband Armando who used to wait outside her office every night until she finally agreed to go out on a date. Shortly afterwards they were married and it wasn't long before they were expecting their first child whom they named Dan. A year and two days later, their second child, Don, was born.   Over the years, Lu and her sons made their way from Long Beach, CA to Steamboat Springs, CO, and eventually back to the east coast settling in Attleboro, MA. That long road back home gave her the chance to explore the US by car, learn to ski and horseback ride "western" style. She made many friends along the way and always welcomed a good conversation. Lu was a devote Christian, loved her family and friends and practiced her beliefs by reaching out to others as much as she could. Eventually it came time for others to take care of her and she made her last move to Rochester, NH.         Her life will be forever cherished in the lives of her children: son Dan Cui of Barrington NH; daughter-in-law, Debra Cui of Barrington, NH; and son Don Cui of Cadillac MI; daughter-in-law, Connie Cui of Cadillac, MI; and seven grandchildren; Kristopher Cui, Jeremy Cui, Michaela Cui, Rachel Garnett, Peter Cui, Jennifer Cui, Josiah Cui; sisters Annette Murphy of Ocala Fl., Clare Reynolds of Cumberland, R.I. and Lorraine Caruthers S. Attleboro, MA. She is preceded in death by her brothers Ronald Beaupre, Hector Beaupre, and sister Helen Beaupre.   Lucille was born on July 10, 1930 in Pawtucket, RI, to parents Alfred and Rhea Beaupre. Lucille married Armando Cui who passed away in 2002.   Family and friends may visit Monday October 31, 2016 from 1 - 3PM at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S.
