Lydia M Cummings

Rochester - Lydia M. Cummings, 94, passed away Monday September 26, 2011 at Colonial Hill of Rochester, following a period of failing health. Born July 11, 1917 in Farmington, ME she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sylvia Cormier. Mrs. Cummings had worked for several different companies throughout her life including the Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard. When she was able she enjoyed attending church, reading her bible and listening to her favorite hymns. She also enjoyed family card games and spending time with her family. Members of her family include a son Albert Cummings and daughter Ruth Harriman both of Rochester, NH; ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren her sister Evangeline Duhaime of Rollinsford, NH; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Cummings Sr., two children Harry Cummings, Jr. and Angie Canney as well as five siblings.
