Lynne Ann Estes went to be with her Parents and Grandparents on Saturday December 27th, 2025 peacefully while she slept at her home in Rochester, NH.
Lynne was born December 19th, 1957 in Rochester, NH. Raised in Somersworth and Dover, NH. She was the eldest sister of 4 girls. Sharon Colby of Berwick, ME. Jeanne Porro of Raymond, NH and Lisa Foxlow and her husband Bill of Rollinsford, NH. She had a son, Steven Prince who resides in Cascade, Montana she was very proud of him and all his accomplishments. Lynne went on to marry Allan Estes in 1984 and they made there home in Somersworth, Dover and eventually moving to Cascade, Montana where they lived until 2009 and returned to be with family settling in Rochester, NH.
Lynne was a very caring and giving person. She worked for Home Healthcare for many years and eventually worked at Community Partners entertaining the Clients daily. She loved her job and enjoyed every day she spent there. She recently semi retired to 3 days a week because she just couldn’t give it up completely. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and was very photogenic, but you wouldn’t know it by the way she ducked out of pictures so often. Lynne was a great cook and tirelessly prepared meals for Al. When she was going on one of her many trips, she would prepare premade meals in the Fridge so he wouldn’t go without her special touch. Lynne was always the designated Dessert maker for our many family get togethers and she would never disappoint. Lynne was “Auntie” to all her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews always making sure she stayed in touch.
Lynne is survived by her loving husband Al Estes, married for 45 years. Her Son Steven Prince, and step-daughter Eileen and her daughter Sonya Rivers of Washington, NC. Her 3 Sisters and several nieces and nephews cousins and In-laws. Pepples, Lynne’s best four-legged friend misses her dearly. Lynne was predeceased by her Parents, James Kaler and Rosemary Peters.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Local Humane Society or Community Partners in her name.
A spring Burial is planned.
