Madeline R. Roberts

Madeline R. Roberts, age 82 of Casco Maine passed away January 6, 2024 after complications from pneumonia. Her bright smile and quick wit were admired by all lucky enough to know her. She was born in Barrington, NH, the daughter of Chester and Elizabeth Wells. Madeline is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Goss and husband Chris of Plaistow, NH and granddaughter Kaitlin Szacik of Homestead Fl. Daughter Jennifer Sarcione and husband Tony of Barrington, NH, Grandchildren Sarah Hodil of Hooksett, NH, Megan Wedge of Hooksett, NH, Ashley and husband Austin Bakos of Rochester, NH and Mikayla Hodil of Strafford, NH. Madeline is predeceased by her son Michael Hastings of Barrington, NH. Daughter Paula Hawkes of Portland, ME Grandson Jesse Hawkes of Windham, ME, Granddaughter Madeline Roy Wilson and Husband Devon of Casco, ME. Daughter Mary Goss of Buxton, ME, Granddaughter Cheyenne Trynor and Husband Aaron. Great Grandchildren Carsyn, Jaimee, Charlotte and Madelyn of Buxton, ME. Granddaughter Natasha Wood and husband Lou of Rhode Island and Granddaughter Amber Goss (AKA Flea) of Casco, ME. Madeline is also survived by her longtime partner James Salzillo of Arundel, ME. She enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting the Oxford casino. Madeline will be remembered as a kind soul with a generous spirit. She would do without herself to help family or a friend in need. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and devoted her life to their care and well being. Services will be private. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or the Save a Life Organ Donor Program.
