Marc Roland Gagne, 73 passed away on November 5, 2025.
Marc was born in Rochester, on July 15,1952, Marc was the son of Roland A. and Pauline (Marquis) Gagne. He graduated from Bishop Brady High School Clas of 1970 and attended Plymouth State College. Marc was loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to all. As a little boy Marc would look out his bedroom window and watch the carnival lights when it came to town every fall. His dream came true when he purchased a carnival show which became Marc’s Amusements. Marc continued to work in amusement business all of his life until he fell ill and ultimately passed away in North Carolina.
Although carnival life was what he loved best, he was a talented artist and worked with stained-glass to create beautiful candle holders, lamps and even a carousel He would not sit idle and was always planning his next big adventure.
He is survived by his sisters Susan Cosgrove (Carl), Janice Desmarais (Fred), and Jane Turner (Steve), and his brother Paul (Therese), dozens of nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews, and his lifelong partner, Michael Gromatzki. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Pauline Gagne. Marc touched the lives of many people during his journey. He was a kind and gentle soul a man who created so much joy in this life for others through Marc's Amusements.
A celebration of life will' be held on May 16, 2026 at the Holy Rosary Cemetery.at 11:30 am
