Marcia Cyr

Rochester, NH- Marcia "Marcy" Cyr, 70, of 30 Betts Road died Thursday Sept. 24, 2015 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She was born March 19, 1945 in Arlington, MA the daughter of the late Myron T. and Helen (Sumner) Bailey. She has resided in Rochester for the past 32 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Church Congregational, UCC. Marcy was a foster mother of several children and an adoptive mother to three. She enjoyed camping and going on cruises. She was also an avid ten pin bowler and New England teams sports fan. Marcy was a good wife, mother and caring person. Members of her family include her husband of 47 years, Patrick Cyr of Rochester; son, Brian P. Cyr, his children, Jessica, Kristapher, Bradley Cyr; adoptive children, Jeremy R. Cyr and fiancée Trisha Elliott, children, Tyler and Brantley , Nicole Marie Cyr of Leominster, MA.; sisters, Sandra Shaw, Lexington, MA, Roberta Martino, Burlington, MA, Helen Lloyd, Ossipee, NH ; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her adoptive son, Doni R. Cyr in 2009. A memorial service will be held Tuesday Oct. 13, 2015 at 1PM at First Church Congregational, UCC, 63 South Main Street, Rochester, NH. Arrangements are under the care of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH.
