Margaret Howard

ROCHESTER - Margaret Howard, 93, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the Gafney Home in Rochester following a period of failing health.Born in Milton on July 1, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Ora (Blouin) Brown.Mrs. Howard was a homemaker and later worked as a housekeeper for the Gafney Home. Upon completing her training she then became a nurse's aid.Members of her family include three sons, Peter Howard of Coldwater, Mich., Paul Howard of Hudson, N.H., and Roger Howard of Lancaster, Pa.; five grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Randy, Scott, and Peter; six great-grandchildren, Jace, Sheldon, Gabriel, Austin, Blake and Ashlyn Marie; one sister, Grace Birch and her husband, Arthur, of Rochester; many dear friends and staff at the Gafney Home.She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Howard; two sons, Theodore and Francis Howard; one daughter, Marie Howard, and two brothers, Ambrose M.
