Margaret Lizotte

North Berwick, ME.- Margaret "Peggy" Lizotte, 80, of 1 Simpson Way died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Dover Center for Health and Rehabilitation after a brief period of failing health. She was born Sept. 18, 1933 in North Berwick, ME the daughter of the late Ervin and Mary (Lyons) Allen. She has resided in this area all of her life having lived in Rochester for 40 years. Peggy worked in the school lunch cafeteria for SAD # 60. She also worked many years at the Globe Dept. Store in Rochester, NH. She enjoyed going to the beach, the monastery in Kennebunk where she was affectionately known as the "St. Jude lady", and playing bingo. The widow of Luke Lizotte who died in 1997 she is survived by sons, Ervin Lizotte and his wife Kathy Tuttle of Lebanon, ME, Thomas "TJ" Lizotte and wife Trish of Center Barnstead, NH; daughters, Mary Shepard and husband Steve of Wells, ME., Kathleen Cote and husband Gary of Lebanon, ME, Beth Lizotte of York, ME; 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara Allen of Sanford, ME., several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00AM in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester NH. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, , Centralized Memorial Processing Center, 30 Speen Street , Framingham, MA 01701-9376.
