Farmington, NH- Maria M. Smith, 75, passed away Wednesday Sept. 1, 2021 at home after a period of failing health. She was born Sept. 8, 1945 in Warwick, RI the daughter of the late Nickolas and        Iannone. She has resided in Farmington since 1990 and had worked as a self -employed housekeeper. She was an active communicant of St. Peters Church in Farmington and had played the organ there and at St. Mary Church in Rochester and Our Lady of Peace Church of Berwick, Maine. Members of her family include her husband of 23 years, Robert Smith; son, Thomas Bachand; daughter, Dominic; 1 grandchild; 3 great grandchildren brother, Nick; sister, Dorothea and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit Saturday Sept. 11, 2021 from 9-11 AM at St. Peters Church, 94 Central Street, Farmington, NH. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11 in the church.
