Marie A. King

During the early hours of June 14th Marie slipped peacefully into eternal sleep. She was accompanied by her son Philip and daughter-in-law Emily. Marie was born in Sicily to her parents Vincenzo and Giuseppina. At the age of five her family moved to the United States. First arriving in New York and eventually settling in Massachusetts. The majority of her childhood and teenage years were spent in Dorchester and Medford. In her early years she enjoyed traveling across the country, spending some time in the west coast. These travels would be the source of many happy memories and stories that would be shared for the rest of her life. In her twenties she would meet, date, and marry the love of her life, Walter. Their nuptials would take place in 1975. The birth of their first and only child together Philip, would happen in 1978.
