Marie A. Mathena

Rochester- Marie A. Mathena, 84 of Rochester NH died peacefully on Friday April 13, 2012. She was born April 21, 1927 in Thomasville, CT to Esther and Dominic D'Amato. She moved to Rochester in the early 1970's, where she owned and operated Deb's restaurant & lounge on Milton Rd. She worked for the NH Homemakers association, were she made everyone feel special. "Hugs are free from Marie." She loved to cook, play Pogo games online, crochet, and play card games with friends/family. Ms. Mathena was preceded in death by her parents, 2 siblings, awaiting at the heavenly gate, her son Arthur Pappagallo and son-in-law Harry Hartman. She is survived by her children, Debra Hartman of Interlachen, FL, Marie Boisvert of Palatka, FL, and Alfred Pappagallo and wife Michele of Hot Springs, AR. She loved all her grandchildren, Barry Wilson and wife Dawn of Manchester, Billy, Brenda, Michel, Michelle, Christopher, Angela, along with great grandchildren and several caring/loving friends, especially Beatrice Laverdure....
