Marilyn Hurd Bryant, Born November, 29, 1931 in Swampscott, MA, daughter to the late Wesley and Angie Hurd, of Rochester, NH. Marilyn grew up in Rochester, graduated from Spaulding High, Class of 1949. She went on to work at Varney's Insurance, Jenness and Jenness Insurance, Century 21 Real Estate and Davidson Rubber. Married in October, 1953 to John Bryant, They resided most of their married life in Rochester, before moving to their Lake House in Milton NH to enjoy their retirement years. They enjoyed wintering for several years in Sarasota FL where they made many new friends. In October, 2012 it was time to move back to Rochester. Marilyn was a lifetime member of the First Methodist Church in Rochester. Marilyn leaves behind her loving husband John of 61 years, daughters, Julie Tompson and her husband John of Rochester, NH, Carol Bryant, of Somersworth NH and Katherine Bryant of Saco ME. Grandchildren - Eric Tompson and his wife Katie, Karen Drapeau and her husband Nate, Brady Charron, Holly Charron and 4 wonderful great-grandchildren - Eben and Keegan Tompson and Wesley and Oliver Drapeau. Mom will be missed greatly by all her family including her wonderful friends and church family. Thank you to all of your for your thoughts and prayers during the past few months. We are all thankful for the wonderful friends and family we have. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make donations to the First Methodist Church, Rochester, NH in her honor. Services will be Friday, April 10th at First Methodist Church, Rochester NH. Visitation hour from 10-11 with service to follow. Arrangements are under the direction of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral home, 86 south Main St
