Marilyn Emro Dame

York Beach, Maine- Marilyn Emro Dame, 83 of 34 Ocean Side Avenue passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the York Hospital surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. Born June 3, 1928 in Wakefield, MA. She was the daughter of the late Guy V. and Florence A. (Melanson) Emro. Marilyn devoted her life to loving and nurturing husband, family and friends. She was a healer and deeply spiritual. Her devoted husband cared for her in their home throughout her illness. Members of her family include her husband of 62 years John Woodbury Dame, Sr. of York Beach, Maine. Her children Janice Hale and husband Daniel of Plymouth, John W. Dame, Jr. and wife Gail of Vermont, and James C. Dame of Mississippi. Her sisters; Paula Erickson and husband Lyle of Arizona, and Penny Bussiere of South Carolina, and a brother: Guy V.
