Marilyn O"Brien

Rochester, Nh- Marilyn O'Brien, 86, died Thursday, April25, 2019 at the Rochester Manor after a period of failing health. She was born Feb. 23, 1933 in Rochester, NH the daughter of the late Alfred and Marian Grenier. She is a lifelong resident of Rochester who worked as a payroll officer for General Electric Company. She was a member of the Victory Club and the Rochester Elks Lodge. Marilyn enjoyed golfing and fishing. Members of her family include her husband of 64 years, George O;Brien; Daughter, MaryEllen Riley and husband Brian of Rochester; grandchildren, Jennifer Lachance, Laura Wickman, Theresa and Jamie Cummings, Heather Ashley, JR and Breanna Riley; 9 great grandchildren; son-in-law Kevin Ashley of Rochester, NH. She was predeceased by her son Nick O'Brien; her daughter, Maureen Ashley and siblings, Raymond and Bernard Grenier, Thelma White and Evelyn Grenier. A private graveside service will be held at St. Mary Cemetery, Rochester, NH. Arrangements are under the care of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH.
