Marion Witham Scala

Rochester NH-Marion Witham Scala, 82 of Rochester passed away on February 6, 2016 with her family by her side after a four-year battle with multiple myeloma. Born in Lebanon Maine, Marion was the daughter of the late Clarence and Juliette "Gagne" Witham. Marion grew up in Rochester and attended Spaulding High School, graduating in 1951.   While attending Spaulding she met her future husband John "Pete" Scala. They shared 62 years of marriage. They enjoyed dancing and dining out and made it a priority to attend their children and grandchildren's activities over the years.   She was a parishioner at Saint Mary's Church. Throughout the years, Marion was actively involved in many clubs including sport's boosters, Rochester Lion's Club, and, up until she fell ill, held chair position at Tara Estates. She retired in 1994 from Eastern Air Device.   Her greatest joy was spending time with family. Other joys included Italian cooking, knitting (with perfection), and shopping.
